SLS Green Run Hot Fire Test 1 — Partial (67 Seconds)
At Stennis Space Center, engineers ignited all four SLS RS-25 engines simultaneously for the first time, but the test was aborted at 67.7 seconds (target: ~500 seconds) when Engine #4 triggered a Major Component Failure indication. Investigation traced the abort to a conservatively set hydraulic parameter in the test stand, not an actual engine defect. A second full-duration test was immediately planned.
