Pakistan Kills 11 Fitna al-Hindustan Militants in Kharan and Washuk IBOs, Seizes 2.9 Tonnes of Explosives
Pakistan's ISPR said security forces killed 11 militants belonging to Fitna al-Hindustan — the military's designation for India-linked Baloch militant networks — in two intelligence-based operations in Balochistan on September 6-7, 2026, announced September 9. Eight militants were killed in Kharan district on September 6 after security forces foiled an attempt to block a key road and disrupt traffic; a separate operation in Washuk district on September 7 targeted a militant hideout and killed 3. Security forces recovered approximately 2.9 tonnes of explosive material the militants were allegedly using to manufacture IEDs. ISPR said sanitisation operations were continuing to eliminate any remaining 'Indian-sponsored' terrorists in the area. Interior Minister Mohsin Naqvi praised the forces involved.
