Security Forces Kill 49 Militants in Nationwide IBOs Across KP, Balochistan
Pakistan's ISPR announced a series of high-tempo, intelligence-based operations conducted over several days in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa and Balochistan, killing 49 militants in total. In KP, forces killed 12 Fitna al-Khawarij (TTP-affiliated) fighters across Bannu, North Waziristan, Orakzai and Khyber districts. In Balochistan, 37 Fitna al-Hindustan (India-linked separatist) militants were killed in 10 separate IBOs across Mastung, Mach, Khuzdar and Panjgur districts under the ongoing 'Radd-ul-Fitna 3' campaign. Security forces recovered and destroyed explosives, IED detonating remotes, weapons, ammunition, explosive drums and motorcycles. Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif and President Asif Ali Zardari both commended the operations, with the PM saying Pakistan remained 'determined to eradicate terrorism completely.'
