Bannu Drone Attacks Kill 2, CPEC-Route Bridge Destroyed

A drone attack hit a Frontier Corps post at Takhti Khel in the Baka Khel area of Bannu on July 7, 2026, killing one soldier (identified as Minabacha) and injuring three others. Separately the same day, a quadcopter attack on the Baka Khel police station area killed one person and injured four; a bridge on a CPEC transit route in Baka Khel tehsil was also blown up.
