Munich Agreement Signed

Britain, France, Italy, and Germany signed the Munich Agreement, allowing Nazi Germany to annex the Sudetenland from Czechoslovakia. British Prime Minister Neville Chamberlain returned declaring 'peace for our time,' a promise that would prove catastrophically wrong.
