Government Launches 'Traffic Light' Building Safety Assessment

An inspection committee combining public institutions, FUNVISIS (Venezuelan Seismological Research Foundation), the Central University of Venezuela (UCV) and other engineering bodies launches a red/yellow/green 'traffic light' system to classify structural damage and determine which buildings are safe for reoccupation.
