Two of Nigel Farage's most senior Reform UK aides — chief of staff Dan Jukes and head of policy James Orr — stood down on 4 September 2026, hours after Channel 4 News broadcast an undercover investigation, produced with the group Verbatim, in which the pair were secretly filmed discussing how a fictional wealthy American could route donations to the party despite UK law banning foreign political funding, including a proposed £500,000 gift channelled through the donor's UK-resident son and over £30,000 to cover Reform-commissioned opinion polling. The revelations broke as Farage opened Reform's annual conference in Birmingham, and the party was reported to the Metropolitan Police and the Electoral Commission.
