Ukrainian Drones Strike Ozon Logistics Hub and Novokuybyshevsk Refinery in Russia's Samara Oblast

Ukrainian long-range drones struck the Ozon marketplace logistics complex in Chapaevsk, Samara Oblast, for the first time overnight on August 21-22, sparking a major fire that had engulfed most of the 135,000-square-meter facility by 07:30 and forcing evacuation of more than 500 workers. Drones also struck the Novokuybyshevsk oil refinery in the same region. Russian authorities reported at least six people killed overnight in the wider wave of Ukrainian strikes. Ukraine has increasingly targeted Russian refineries, fuel depots, and logistics infrastructure to disrupt revenue and supply chains sustaining the war.
