Russian Drone Strike on Passenger Minibus Near Nikopol Kills 5, Injures 7
A Russian drone struck a scheduled passenger minibus in the Nikopol district of Dnipropetrovsk Oblast on the morning of September 16, killing five people (four men and one woman) and injuring seven others, according to Dnipropetrovsk Regional Military Administration head Oleksandr Hanzha. President Zelenskyy said the strike had "no military rationale" and called it "just another atrocity." Nikopol sits on the front line directly across the Dnipro River from the Russian-held Zaporizhzhia Nuclear Power Plant and has been a recurring target of Russian drone attacks.
