Russia Strikes Dnipro Medical Clinic, Kharkiv Oil Depot, 49 Sumy Settlements — Day 1,551

On May 25, 2026 — Day 1,551 of Russia's full-scale invasion — Russian forces launched a new wave of missiles and drones targeting Kyiv, Dnipro, Kharkiv, and Sumy regions, continuing the aerial campaign that began with the massive May 23–24 barrage. A ballistic missile struck a medical clinic in Dnipro, killing at least 2 people and injuring over 30, including two boys aged 3 and 6. In Pavlohrad (Dnipropetrovsk Oblast), a separate Russian drone struck a multi-story residential building, killing 5 people including a child. In Kharkiv, an oil depot was struck twice by Russian kamikaze drones; 18 people were injured across the Kharkiv region, including a 5-year-old child; the town of Derhachi was also hit by a missile. Russian forces struck 49 settlements in Sumy region, killing 1 man and injuring 4 others; a drone attack on a civilian car killed a 24-year-old man in the Krasnopillia community.
