Ukraine Strikes Tuapse Oil Refinery in 'Volcano' Operation

Ukrainian long-range drone forces struck the Tuapse oil refinery in Russia's Krasnodar Krai overnight, setting off massive fires described by witnesses as turning the facility into a 'volcano.' The Tuapse refinery is one of Russia's largest Black Sea-region oil processing facilities, handling approximately 12 million tons of crude annually. The strike expanded Ukraine's campaign against Russian energy export infrastructure beyond the Baltic ports and inland refineries targeted in late March. European partners including Germany (€300M), Norway (€560M), Netherlands (€248M), and Belgium (€85M) pledged new drone funding for Ukraine on the same day.
