Russia Seizes Zaporizhzhia Nuclear Plant

Russian forces captured the Zaporizhzhia Nuclear Power Plant — Europe's largest — after overnight fighting. The first time in history an armed force captured an operating nuclear plant. IAEA Director General Rafael Grossi called for immediate talks. Ukraine's state nuclear company Energoatom reported that firefighting units were initially blocked from responding to fires at the site.
