Turkey-Azerbaijan Launch TurAz Eagle-2026 Joint Air Force Exercises

Turkey and Azerbaijan initiated the 'TurAz Eagle-2026' bilateral joint air force exercise, focused on exchanging operational experience in planning and conducting joint air operations, enhancing military personnel professionalism, and strengthening command coordination between the two allied air forces. The exercise reflects the deepening Turkey-Azerbaijan strategic partnership under the Shusha Declaration framework (2021), which formalized their alliance. The two countries have conducted regular joint military exercises since 2021.
