Secret Service Confirms Iranian State Media Video Threatening Barron Trump
The US Secret Service confirmed Monday, August 24, 2026 it is aware of a nearly three-minute video aired by Iranian state television — reportedly linked to IRGC-affiliated media — titled 'Where to Kill Barron Trump,' which claimed a $10 million bounty and referenced locations including his place of study and Trump Tower in New York. Secret Service spokesman Nate Herring said the agency 'investigates anything that can be perceived as a threat toward our protectees' but declined further comment 'out of concern for operational security.' The video follows a similar July threat against First Lady Melania Trump and Iranian state media's repeated targeting of the Trump family since the US and Israel killed Supreme Leader Ali Khamenei in February 2026; it is the first time Barron has been publicly singled out.
