Congressional Leaders Voice Frustration Over Lack of Iran War Transparency
Members of both the House and Senate Armed Services Committees expressed frustration following a classified Pentagon briefing on Iran war operations. House Armed Services Committee Chairman Rep. Mike Rogers stated: 'We want to know more about what's going on, what the options are and why they're being considered. And we're just not getting enough answers on those questions.' A Reuters/Ipsos poll found 61% of Americans disapproving of US military strikes in Iran; a Pew poll found 59% calling the decision wrong; a Quinnipiac poll found 54% of registered voters opposed.
