The aircraft did not simply cross the line but operated for an extended period inside Taiwan's designated no-fly zone on Taiwan's side of the Strait, which analysts characterized as a new form of 'gray-zone' operation. The helicopter was detected alongside a PLA drone during the same window; experts said it remained unclear whether the aircraft originated from a PLA Navy ship or a mainland aviation base.
