Taiwan MND Detects 3 PLA Aircraft Sorties, 9 PLAN Vessels

Taiwan's Ministry of National Defense detected 3 sorties of PLA aircraft, 9 PLAN vessels, and 1 official ship operating around Taiwan on March 24. All 3 sorties crossed the median line of the Taiwan Strait and entered Taiwan's southwestern ADIZ. ROC Armed Forces deployed CAP aircraft, Navy ships, and coastal missile systems in response. Activity remained at low levels consistent with the post-NPC trend, well below the pre-February 2026 average of over 300 ADIZ incursions per month.
