Valor Equity Partners Distributes $8.5B of SpaceX Shares to Investors

| SpaceX

Valor Equity Partners — the Musk-aligned investment firm run by Antonio Gracias, which backed SpaceX for nearly two decades and emerged with a roughly 4% stake at the June 2026 IPO — disclosed it distributed about $8.5 billion of SpaceX stock (roughly 8.5% of its holdings) to its limited partners, letting investors begin realizing gains for the first time since the IPO. It is described as Valor's biggest-ever investment win. The distribution lands during a volatile stretch for SPCX shares, which traded around $143.51 on Sept 16 (day range $142.87-$148.54) versus a prior close of $148.15, as markets also digested Musk's Sept 15 All-In Summit comments reopening Tesla-SpaceX merger speculation.
