NASA's Space Station Blog published an update on May 14, 2026, confirming that the CRS-34 Cargo Dragon mission's third launch attempt is set for Friday, May 15, 2026, at 6:05 p.m. EDT (22:05 UTC) from Space Launch Complex 40, Cape Canaveral Space Force Station. The update followed two consecutive weather scrubs on May 12 and May 13. Dragon C209 will carry approximately 6,500 pounds of cargo including time-sensitive science experiments for the Expedition 74 crew aboard the ISS. If the May 15 launch is nominal, Dragon C209 will autonomously dock with the Harmony module's forward port at approximately 7:00 a.m. EDT on Sunday, May 17. Booster B1096 (6th flight) will attempt a Return-to-Launch-Site landing at Landing Zone 40 — marking SpaceX's 611th cumulative Falcon booster recovery if successful. NASA also set coverage for SpaceX's 34th commercial resupply mission launch and arrival operations. ISS Expedition 74 crew is continuing science operations and spacewalk preparations while awaiting the cargo delivery. Separately, IFT-12 Starship Block 3 pre-flight preparations continue at Starbase with the vehicle targeting No Earlier Than May 19, 2026, as three additional pre-flight test milestones were underway this week.
