| SpaceX

SpaceX successfully launched Starlink Group 10-58 from Space Launch Complex 40 (SLC-40) at Cape Canaveral Space Force Station at 7:55 a.m. EDT (11:55 UTC) on April 2, 2026. The Falcon 9 carried 29 Starlink V2 Mini Optimized satellites to low Earth orbit, continuing expansion of the Starlink mega-constellation now exceeding 10,000 active satellites. Booster B1085 completed its 15th flight, having previously flown on the historic Crew-9 rescue mission, RRT-1, Firefly Blue Ghost Mission 1, Fram2, SXM-10, MTG-S1, EchoStar XXV, and seven additional Starlink missions. Following stage separation, B1085 executed a precision landing on the drone ship 'Just Read the Instructions' positioned in the Atlantic Ocean. The mission was SpaceX's 41st orbital launch of 2026 and pushed the total 2026 booster recovery count to 594, continuing the company's trajectory toward a ~140-mission year.
