IFT-2 — First Starship to Reach Space; Hot-Staging Debut

IFT-2 introduced hot-staging (firing Ship engines while Super Heavy is still attached) and saw Ship 25 become the first Starship to reach space. Super Heavy was intentionally terminated over the Gulf of Mexico after hot-staging, while Ship 25 flew for over eight minutes before being destroyed during reentry by its automated flight termination system.
