NROL-76 — First Classified DoD Mission for SpaceX

SpaceX launched the classified NROL-76 satellite for the National Reconnaissance Office — its first mission for the US intelligence community. The mission demonstrated SpaceX's ability to handle classified payloads, opening up a major market previously dominated exclusively by ULA with its Atlas V and Delta IV vehicles.
