Danab Special Forces Raid Kills 14 Al-Shabaab Fighters in Kuntuwaarey District

Somalia's elite Danab special forces conducted a targeted raid in Kuntuwaarey district, Lower Shabelle region, killing 14 Al-Shabaab fighters and destroying a weapons and explosives cache. No SNA casualties were disclosed. The operation followed the previous day's AFRICOM strike in the same general area, part of a renewed tempo of counter-terrorism operations in Lower Shabelle after a roughly month-long lull.
