Day 759: Four More Killed Across Culiacán, Navolato and the Mazatlán Highway

Beyond the Angostura clash, Friday, August 21, 2026 brought four more homicides across Sinaloa. In Culiacán, two men were shot dead on Avenida Aquiles Serdán in the Miguel Alemán neighborhood by attackers on a motorcycle who fled the scene. In Navolato, Julián Rosario 'N', 44, a shellfish harvester from the El Castillo fishing camp, was executed at the 'La Curva' bend near the old highway in the San Pedro township; his bullet-riddled gray Chevrolet Tornado was secured as evidence. On the Mazatlán–Culiacán highway near El Recreo, the body of a man with multiple gunshot wounds was found on a bridge. No arrests were reported in any of the three incidents.
