Armed Group Attacks Mexican Army Patrol in Escuinapa — 4 Detained, 3 Are Minors

Cartel gunmen ambushed a Mexican Army (SEDENA) ground patrol in Escuinapa municipality on April 5, 2026. The firefight lasted several minutes before four suspects were detained, three of them minors.
