Claudia Sheinbaum Inaugurated as Mexico's First Female President
Claudia Sheinbaum Pardo was sworn in as Mexico's 66th president and first female head of state, also the first person of Jewish heritage to hold the office. Morena and its coalition allies held supermajorities in both chambers of Congress. She pledged to continue AMLO's Fourth Transformation while adding a 'second floor' of technocratic governance.
