Russian Report: Irkutsk Anti-Plague Institute Worker Died of Unknown Cause; ~200 Contacts Isolated

A Russian report said a 28-year-old worker at the Irkutsk Anti-Plague Institute fell ill and died of pneumonia of unknown cause on Oct 2 in a hospital in Shelekhov. Nearly 200 contacts were isolated. Early reports of a broken tube of live bacteria were unconfirmed.
