Peña promulgates fast-track depositor repayment law

Congress passed the law in record time and Peña signed it. Each depositor can receive up to 40 monthly minimum wages (121.7 million guaraníes, about $20,000) within 24 hours and no later than five business days, per CNN. An impeachment request against Peña and Alliana was also filed on 4 November.
