IDF, Shin Bet Kill Motorcycle Driver Who Abducted Noa Argamani and Avinatan Or From Nova Festival on Oct. 7

The IDF, Shin Bet and Israel Police's Lahav 433 unit said in a joint statement Sunday, September 27, 2026 that a strike in the Nuseirat area of central Gaza killed Saher Nidal Latfi Saqr, who was filmed driving the motorcycle that carried hostages Noa Argamani and her partner Avinatan Or away from the Nova music festival massacre on October 7, 2023. According to the IDF and Shin Bet, Saqr was affiliated with global jihadist elements operating in Gaza, had supplied weapons to Hamas during the war, and in recent months worked with Hamas and Palestinian Islamic Jihad operatives to advance attacks against Israeli troops and civilians in violation of the ceasefire. Palestinian media reported three additional people wounded in separate IDF strikes in Gaza City the same morning. Argamani was rescued alive in the IDF's June 8, 2024 Operation Arnon; Or was released after 738 days in Hamas captivity on October 13, 2025.
