IDF Eliminates Two Hamas Terrorists in Central Gaza Strikes
On April 21, 2026, the Israel Defense Forces confirmed the elimination of two Hamas terrorists in targeted strikes in central Gaza. Anas Khaled Safi was identified as a Hamas operative who had been actively planning imminent attacks against IDF troops. Ayman Housna was identified as a Hamas weapons manufacturer and repairman who had been producing and maintaining weapons for the group. The IDF stated both were killed in separate precision strikes. The operations occurred under the ongoing October 2025 ceasefire framework, which the IDF says allows for targeted eliminations of active threats. The Gaza Government Media Office has documented 2,400+ Israeli violations of the ceasefire since October 2025, including 921 shooting incidents and 1,109 bombardments. Since the ceasefire, at least 777 Palestinians have been killed and 2,193 wounded per the Gaza GMO's running tally.
