IDF Strikes Kill Six Palestinians Including Two Children Amid Continued Ceasefire Violations
On April 15, 2026, Israeli strikes killed at least six Palestinians in Gaza, including two children. A targeted Israeli strike on a police vehicle in Gaza City killed four people, among them a three-year-old boy named Yahia al-Malachi and a police officer. In northern Gaza near the Jabalia refugee camp, a 14-year-old named Adam Ahmed Khalaa was killed by Israeli gunfire according to local health officials. The Times of Israel also reported that a soldier was seriously injured in an operational accident on the same day. The Gaza Government Media Office had by this point documented more than 2,400 Israeli ceasefire violations since October 2025, while the IDF simultaneously reported 14 violations by Hamas and Palestinian armed factions in the April 8–16 window. The strikes occurred one day after Hamas's formal rejection of the Board of Peace disarmament plan on April 14, raising fears that the fragile ceasefire could unravel.
