Investigation: Israel Still Targeting Journalists in Gaza During Ceasefire

Prism Reports published an investigative piece on March 30, 2026 documenting that Israeli forces continued to target journalists in Gaza even after the ceasefire that took effect October 10, 2025. Time magazine simultaneously published a feature on journalists killed since the start of the Iran-Israel war. The CPJ's running count confirmed Israel had killed more journalists than any government since CPJ began tracking in 1992 — at least 259 confirmed journalist deaths in the Gaza conflict. The data included Palestinian journalists killed in Gaza, Lebanese journalists killed in the Lebanon front, and international correspondents. UNESCO condemned the pattern as a systematic attack on press freedom.
