The Board of Peace held its inaugural Washington meeting on February 18, 2026 with 27 signatory countries and approximately 50 diplomatic envoys. The plan calls for Hamas to decommission all offensive heavy weapons, including rocket arsenals, anti-tank weapons, and tunnel infrastructure, over eight months. In exchange, a phased Israeli military withdrawal and international reconstruction fund activation are envisioned.
