Headline Inflation Falls to 14.63% in September, NBS Reports

The NBS CPI report released Oct 15 put September headline inflation at 14.63%, down from 15.39% in August. Food inflation was 19.59% year-on-year with food prices down 1.55% month-on-month; core inflation was 12.95%, rising 1.11% month-on-month. Imo was highest (30.04%) and Taraba lowest (1.78%).
