Pastor, Wife, and Two Children Murdered in Plateau State Herder Attack

Suspected armed herders killed a Christian pastor, his wife, their son, and infant daughter in Gako village, Plateau State, on the night of April 26. Rev. Ayuba Choji, his wife Chundung Ayuba, Cyril Ayuba, and infant Endurance Ayuba were killed in what local church leaders described as a targeted attack on a clergy household, part of a broader wave of violence that has left over 110 people dead in Plateau State since late March 2026.
