Eighth Airspace Breach: Drone Crosses Directly Into Transnistrian Sector Near Dnestrovsk
Moldova's Army Air Operations Service detected an unidentified aerial object crossing the state border at 15:50 local time on August 30, entering national airspace near Dnestrovsk in the Transnistrian-administered sector — close to the Cuciurgan (MGRES) power plant — after approaching from the direction of Lymanske in Ukraine's Odesa Oblast. The object exited back toward Lymanske along the same route nine minutes later, at 15:59, during a fresh wave of Russian aerial attacks on Ukraine. No debris or damage was reported. It was the eighth confirmed breach of Moldovan airspace since August 9, and notably the first to occur directly over the Russian-administered Transnistrian sector rather than the Ștefan Vodă or Gagauzia frontier districts, where Chisinau has no ground access to investigate.
