Roadblocks and Burning Tyres Return to Tripoli Over Power Cuts

| Libya Conflict

Protesters blocked roads and burned tyres in several areas of Tripoli on August 25, reviving the civil disobedience campaign against prolonged electricity outages that began in late July. Demonstrators shut down major routes including the Nabras roundabout, roughly two kilometres from the Prime Minister's Office, and the Ghiran roundabout, one of the capital's main western entrances. No injuries or clashes with security forces were reported.
