Lebanese government bans Hezbollah military activity

PM Nawaf Salam's government outlawed Hezbollah's military activities and demanded the group surrender its arms, a historic break with the movement. State media were later told to stop calling Hezbollah 'the resistance'. On 5 March the government also announced arrests/expulsions of anyone linked to Iran's IRGC.
