Settlers Establish New Outpost Near Beit Iksa, Attack Home in Abu Nujeim, Cut Power Line in Masafer Yatta

Israeli settlers carried out a wave of attacks and land seizures across the West Bank on Tuesday, September 15, 2026. Near Beit Iksa, northwest of occupied Jerusalem, a group of settlers under Israeli military protection began installing structures and equipment for a new outpost in the Khirbet al-Alawna area -- the second outpost established on the village's land within four months. In Abu Nujeim, southeast of Bethlehem, settlers attacked a home near the university housing area early Tuesday, leaving an elderly man and his wife with bruises. In Masafer Yatta, settlers grazed livestock on Palestinian land in the Huwara area before local women drove them off, while in nearby al-Khalil settlers cut and burned an electricity cable supplying the Wadi al-Rakhim area, causing a power outage.
