Israeli strikes, drone fire and gunfire hit multiple locations across Gaza over September 9-10, 2026, according to Palestinian medical sources and Gaza's Civil Defence. An airstrike hit a residential block in the Nuseirat refugee camp in central Gaza, with several casualties -- mostly children -- taken to Al-Awda Hospital. In Khan Younis, a strike on the Abu Hatab family home injured a young man and an elderly man, while quadcopter fire in the Al-Mahatta neighborhood critically wounded a child in the neck (taken to Nasser Hospital), and an aircraft bombing near the Jordanian Field Hospital caused further injuries. In Jabalia, helicopter fire and artillery struck east of the refugee camp, and a woman was shot and injured in the Halawa area. In Gaza City, an airstrike on a residential building in Shati refugee camp injured a girl, drone strikes at the Abu 'Elba roundabout near Sheikh Radwan critically injured two Palestinians, and a woman was moderately wounded by gunfire in the Zarqa area. Gaza's Ministry of Health said the cumulative overall toll since October 7, 2023 rose to 73,670 killed and 174,682 wounded, while the toll since the October 11, 2025 ceasefire reached 1,359 killed, 4,571 injured and 831 bodies recovered from rubble, with 1 fatality and 30 wounded recorded in the preceding 24 hours.
