Israeli Settlers Raid Duma Village, West Bank — Woman and Child Injured

| Israel-Palestine

Israeli settlers raided the Palestinian village of Duma in the central West Bank shortly after 7 a.m. on April 25, 2026, wounding a woman and a child. Settlers also attacked an adjacent Bedouin hamlet, reportedly violating a closed military zone order imposed by the IDF. Duma residents threw stones at the settlers; one settler was reportedly lightly wounded. Several Palestinian vehicles were vandalized; a child suffered facial injuries from glass shards. The attack is the latest in a sustained wave of settler violence following the April 21–23 Deir Dibwan and al-Mughayyir settler killings — the deadliest three-day settler violence episode of 2026 — in which four Palestinians were killed by settlers. Duma is internationally known as the village where the Dawabsheh family was burned alive by Israeli settlers in July 2015, killing an 18-month-old baby and both parents.
