Masked Settlers Raid Turmus Ayya and Multiple West Bank Villages — Arson and Graffiti
Approximately 20 armed and masked Israeli settlers raided the Palestinian town of Turmus Ayya near Ramallah in the central West Bank, torching at least one building, vandalizing property, and spray-painting Hebrew graffiti 'Revenge' and 'Regards from Abu Falah' — an apparent reference to a nearby village targeted in repeated recent attacks. Settlers also set a vehicle on fire and attempted to torch a house. Separate settler attacks were reported in other West Bank villages the same day. IDF forces later raided homes in Turmus Ayya but made no arrests of the settlers involved. Haaretz reported settlers were armed with military-grade weapons during the raid. The incidents followed the announcement of an Israel-Lebanon ceasefire on April 17, which critics noted did not reduce settler violence against Palestinians.
