IDF Strikes Multiple Tehran Neighborhoods; Tabriz Petrochemical Hit — Oil Surges to ~$115
US and Israeli aircraft conducted overnight and morning strikes on multiple locations in Tehran on March 29 (Day 30), killing at least 2 people and wounding 14 in residential areas near Shaft City, Saadat Abad neighborhood, and western Tehran districts. The strikes also hit the Tabriz Petrochemical Company in northwestern Iran, sending Brent crude prices up to approximately $115/barrel on the news. A Washington Post investigation published March 29 confirmed that four of Iran's key ballistic missile manufacturing sites and at least 29 ballistic missile launch sites have been damaged across the first four weeks of war. Additional strikes targeted an IRGC complex for ballistic missile and satellite launcher R&D, and Iranian air defense systems, with power blackouts reported in parts of Tehran and Karaj.
