Oman, Qatar, China Positioned as Mediators

International Crisis Group reported that Oman, Qatar, and China have positioned themselves as potential mediators for back-channel dialogue to find an off-ramp in the Middle East war. Pre-war negotiations in Oman and Geneva where Iran agreed to IAEA verification of uranium stockpiles have been derailed by the military conflict.
