IDF: 'Thousands of Targets' Remain in Iran; 3+ More Weeks of Operations Planned

The Israeli Defense Forces stated on March 15 that it still has 'thousands of targets' remaining in Iran after 17 days of intensive strikes. IDF military planners indicated operations would need 'at least three more weeks' to complete their objectives. To date, the IDF has conducted 4,700+ sorties and 380+ waves of strikes since February 28. CENTCOM confirmed approximately 6,000+ Iranian targets have been struck across all 30+ provinces. Israel is increasing sortie rates, deploying additional F-35I squadrons and using IAF F-15I aircraft for deep-penetration strikes. The IDF framed the prolonged timeline as necessary for permanent disarmament of Iran's nuclear and missile programs.
