Iran Accuses U.S. and Israel of Striking Natanz Enrichment Facility

During a special session of the IAEA Board of Governors in Vienna, Iran’s Ambassador to the International Atomic Energy Agency (IAEA), Reza Najafi, accused the United States and Israel of launching airstrikes on the Natanz uranium enrichment facility. He condemned the attacks as unlawful and called on IAEA member states to denounce them. Najafi asserted that the accusations against Iran developing nuclear weapons are baseless.
