Escalation Risks Persist After U.S.–Israel Strikes on Iran

As of March 5, the U.S. has conducted over 2,000 strikes in Iran, and Israel has carried out over 1,500, resulting in over 1,000 deaths in Iran. President Trump projected that the operation against Iran will likely last four to five weeks and encouraged Iranian citizens to challenge the legitimacy of the current regime.
