Pentagon Briefs Congress on Iran Nuclear Threat Assessment
The Pentagon delivered a classified briefing to congressional leadership on Iran's nuclear capabilities, reporting that Iran's stockpile of 440 kg of 60%-enriched uranium remained sufficient for up to ten nuclear weapons if further enriched. The briefing highlighted the ongoing fortification of the Isfahan underground complex and the IAEA's inability to verify Iranian nuclear activities since Tehran's February 2 letter rejecting inspections.
