Satellite Images Show Isfahan Nuclear Tunnel Fortification

| Iran Conflict

The Institute for Science and International Security published satellite imagery showing Iran was conducting massive earthworks at the Isfahan nuclear tunnel complex, sealing the middle and southern entrances with huge piles of dirt using heavy engineering equipment. The northern entrance remained open but was reinforced with graduated protective walls designed to block cruise missile penetration. The institute assessed Iran was 'seriously concerned about a US/Israeli aerial attack.'
