Additional F-35 and F-15E Squadrons Deploy to Gulf

The Pentagon confirms the deployment of an additional F-35A squadron from the 388th Fighter Wing (Hill AFB, Utah) and remaining F-15E aircraft from the 494th EFS to Gulf bases. The 35-aircraft deployment from RAF Lakenheath is now complete. Combined with existing assets, the US now has over 150 combat aircraft within striking range of Iran, the highest concentration since Operation Iraqi Freedom.
